Students will travel to Florianopolis, Brazil to visit four businesses with international supply chains, participate in a service learning project, and experience a dance class and a tour of the island of Florianopolis.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival to Florianopolis, orientation, welcome dinner
Day 2
Tour of Florianopolis Island, sandboarding experience
Day 3
Volunteer with local nonprofit
Day 4
Free time to explore Florianopolis, Samba dance class
Day 5-6
Visits to four companies over two days, conversations with management and tours of the facilities
Day 7
Free time and/or lecture, farewell dinner
Day 8
Departure
