Ecuador is a country of staggering diversity but also high economic disparity. Access to healthcare in Ecuador is often inequitable. Through visits to health institutions, service learning in urban and rural settings, and a visit to a respected university health center, students will gain insight into the unique challenges and a  variety of solutions to providing healthcare in Ecuador.

Arrival and Welcome dinner.

Day 2

Quito City Tour and Chocolate Tour.

Day 3

UDLA Campus Visit and Simulation Hospital.

Day 4

Quito Service Project with UDLA Students.

Day 5

Jamba Huasi Clinic Visit and Meeting with Healer.

Day 6

Rural Service Learning Brigade.

Day 7

El Chota Volley Community Visit and Mask Making Workshop.

Day 8

Peguche Waterfall and Otavalo Saturday Market.

Day 9

Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) and Papallacta Hot Springs.
